RENTALS

Renting gear to whoever walks in, without loose paperwork

Someone walks in asking for a board for the afternoon. What is left is a sheet in a drawer, a photocopy of an ID nobody knows where to file, and the hope that the board comes back.

Rentals have their own liability waiver, editable by you, signed on screen with a finger. The ID photo is stored privately, and the contract prints on one page.

A diagram, drawn for this page. The working screen lives inside SurfBooking OS, with your own school's data in it.

In production since April 2026, in the hands of surf schools.

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps.

01.

The waiver is YOURS

You write the rental waiver text in the panel, and it is separate from the lesson one — different risks, and the law treats them differently. One active waiver per type, never two disagreeing.

02.

Signed on screen, with a finger

The customer signs on a phone or on the front-desk laptop. It records who signed, when, and a SHA-256 integrity mark of the exact text they read — if anyone edits the waiver afterwards, the mark stops matching.

03.

The ID photo stays private

Up to four photos per rental, stored on a private path rather than a shared folder. They are evidence while the gear is out, and they do not end up wandering around on anyone's phone.

04.

The contract prints

One page, ready to print or save as PDF, with the gear, the dates and the signature. It is what you hand over when someone asks, without assembling anything by hand.

We only take commission when the student came from us. Your own channel and your walk-ins: zero SurfBooking commission.
