SurfBooking brings surf schools, surfers and instructors together in one place. Schools use the SurfBooking OS for free, at €0/month; surfers find lessons and see the sea at each beach for their level; instructors have a CV they take from school to school and see their schedule. The wave you actually surf

Forecast at the Peak

Combines several sources and reads each beach with its own exposure and tide. The 0-10 score is for the wave at the peak, not the offshore reading, and comes with a confidence indicator. We have not yet measured its error against observations at sea.

SurfBooking Ratios + Beach Rules

1:6 beginner · 1:8 intermediate · 1:4 kids · 1:4 private (SB ratios, set by us). A beach by-law warning when two or more instructors share a lesson. A lesson that does not reach its minimum of students is cancelled on its own and the money is refunded, with no chasing.

Understands everyday Portuguese and gets the maths of repeating lessons right (4.33 weeks per month, never 5). Follows the public Constitution. Before every version, it is tested against attempts to trick it, to show money to the wrong person and to promise refunds.
