HOW IT WORKS

Per spot, never per region
Official sources cross-referenced, then our own calculation on top: coast facing, exposure, the headland shadow read from terrain elevation, and the tide gate. The regional forecast says one metre; your beach may have half.
Read at each lesson's level
The same sea, three readings: beginner, intermediate and advanced, with kids apart. For each level it says whether it is ideal, works, is small or too big, and which tide phase that level prefers.
Wave height in plain words
“0.8 m · waist high”. Nobody books a lesson in metres; the scale runs from flat to double overhead and is the same on the site, in the app and in the school's panel.
The best window of the day, over the bars
Hour-by-hour bars from 7 to 20, the hours lessons happen, with the wave height written on each. Below them, wind and gusts in km/h and the direction it blows from. The best window of the day is written above the bars, the current hour is marked, and the technical detail adds the tide on the same clock.
The sea at your lesson's hour
On every lesson page, the forecast for the booked hour, judged for that lesson's level, refreshed daily. In the panel, the school sees lessons at risk before students reach the beach.
Put to the test, not promised
We store every hour's forecast and compare it with what was observed. We are redoing the measurement so it compares like with like, and only publish a number once it does.
