Frequently asked questions

What corporate groups usually want to know before booking.

How much does a corporate session cost?

Each school sets the price. Typical range: €35–€55 per person for a 2h group lesson with full equipment + insurance + instructor. Volume discounts apply at 10+ guests. Send an inquiry and the school replies with a custom quote within 24h.

How far in advance should we book?

Minimum 7 days. For peak season (Jun–Sep, school holidays) we recommend 3–4 weeks. Smaller groups (under 12) sometimes fit last-minute if waves cooperate.

What if someone in our group has never surfed?

That's the default — most corporate groups are first-timers. Schools brief individually based on level + age. Each guest's email mentions their plan ahead of time. Nobody is dropped in the deep end.

What's included? Equipment? Insurance?

Standard quote includes: board, wetsuit, leash, instructor (FPS-certified), insurance (Federação Portuguesa de Surf). Photography, transport, lunch are usually add-ons — ask the school.

Can we cancel or reschedule?

Cancel more than 4 days before the lesson and you get 100% back. Between 2 and 4 days, 75%. Between 1 day and 2 days, 50%. Under 1 day, nothing. Rescheduling because of bad weather is the school's call, and most do it at no charge.

Can we customise? Add a beach BBQ, photography, branded gear?

Yes — schools handle custom extras directly with you after the initial quote. Photography, drone footage, branded rash vests, post-surf catering — all common requests. Just mention it in the inquiry.
