WIZARD · 3 STEPS
Saturday's session starts in a notebook, travels through WhatsApp, and only really exists once somebody types it into a computer again.
A three-step wizard: the essentials, the details, then a summary before you publish. It pre-fills gear sizes and validates the SurfBooking ratio for you.
A diagram, drawn for this page. The working screen lives inside SurfBooking OS, with your own school's data in it.
In production since April 2026, in the hands of surf schools.
The five fields that define the lesson. The level (beginner / intermediate / advanced / kids / private) sets the maximum students-per-instructor ratio (SurfBooking ratio), and the forecast is then read through that level's lens. Capacity is the booking ceiling; if you exceed the ratio for the level, the wizard warns you.
The instructor is optional: leave it blank and the lesson becomes 'anyone on the team' — assign someone before the lesson, or don't. Gear auto-suggests wetsuit and board sizes from each student's weight and height. You set the meeting point on the beach, requirements, minors policy and — if you want — make the lesson conditional (auto-cancels and refunds everyone if the minimum isn't met 2h before).
A final card with everything. Here's the part that trips people up: without Stripe connected, the lesson stays an invisible draft to students — you created it, but it isn't on sale. Connect Stripe once and all lessons become visible. For a whole series (every Tuesday and Thursday, say) use 'Schedule series' instead of repeating the wizard.
We only take commission when the student came from us. Your own channel and your walk-ins: zero SurfBooking commission.
