Frequently asked questions

Are there job openings posted here?

No. Surf Booking does not post job ads or run a vacancy board. What exists is the other way around: you create your profile, you become visible to the schools that are open to the marketplace, and they invite you. No salaries, housing or vacancies are advertised on this platform — if you see that attributed to us anywhere, it is not ours.

Does it cost me anything?

No. Instructors never pay. The school covers any platform fee. You build your profile, accept invites, get paid by the school.

Can I really work for multiple schools?

Yes — that's the design. Each school sees you, but conflict detection prevents double-booking. The unified calendar shows all your shifts.

How do reviews work?

Surfers rate the school and you separately after each lesson. Your overall verified rating travels with your CV; per-school averages stay inside that school's dashboard. No school sees how you're rated at a competitor.

What if I want to leave a school?

The school deactivates your link. Your CV stays. The reviews you earned at that school stay attributed there (history is sacred). Your overall rating reflects all schools you've ever taught at.

How is the verification done?

Upload a photo of your FPS / ISA / equivalent federation card. SurfBooking team reviews manually. Approved = verified badge on your profile, audit-logged.
