Born in Ericeira. Built for everyone who doesn't know yet that they want to surf.

SurfBooking was born in Ericeira — Europe's only World Surf Reserve. Not by accident. We wanted to build something that understood surf from the inside out.

The moment we want to change is a very specific one. A parent at home on a Tuesday evening, looking for something to do with the kids this weekend. A couple on holiday who just decided — today, right now — they want to try surfing. Someone out for a walk who passes a surf school and thinks why not. All of them could book a lesson. None of them have an easy way to do it.

That's the market nobody has opened yet. Not just the tourist who already planned a surf trip. Everyone who would say yes — if yes was one tap away.

SurfBooking gives every school and instructor the tools to reach that person. And gives that person the tools to find the right school, book in seconds, and show up ready to surf.

We're not building a booking platform. We're opening the ocean to everyone who never knew it was an option.

Our Constitution

The rules we build on

Every school and instructor on SurfBooking operates under the official regulations of surf federations. These rules are our constitution — the non-negotiable foundation of every booking, every lesson, every interaction on this platform.

Art. I Certified instructors only. Every instructor must hold a valid certification recognised by the national surf federation (FPS in Portugal) or an international body (ISA). No certification, no listing.

Art. II Licensed schools only. Every school must present their national licence number and, where applicable, insurance policy before being approved on the platform. All schools are manually reviewed.

Art. III Safety is not optional. Student-to-instructor ratios, minimum age requirements, level-appropriate grouping and emergency protocols follow federation standards. Schools agree to these at registration.

Art. IV Transparency on every booking. Price, level, duration, cancellation policy and instructor are shown before payment. No hidden costs, no surprises on the beach.

Art. V Respect for the ocean. The surf community has its own code — for the water, for the environment, for each other. SurfBooking exists to serve that community, not to exploit it.
