Waterbound gives lessons at Matadouro, one of Ericeira's beaches with the most character. Dramatic scenery, transparent water and an atmosphere that blends the village's charm with the ocean's energy. It's the kind of beach that makes you want to come back.

Beyond surfing

Waterbound also offers tours and transfers — they take care of everything so you only need to worry about enjoying yourself. The school is based in the centre of Ericeira (Rua de Santo António), surrounded by cafes, restaurants and surf shops.

After the lesson, Ericeira beckons: a pastel de nata in the centre, fresh fish at a restaurant with sea views, or simply sitting on the cliff watching the sunset.
