Three steps.

Connect your Stripe account
If you already have one, connect it. If you do not, it is created on the spot and it is yours: not a sub-account of ours, your school's account. We never see anyone's card number.
The money reaches you directly
Every payment is routed to your account in the same movement it is charged, with our commission split out. There is no balance of ours in between, and no payout day of ours.
You see everything on their side
The Stripe dashboard is yours: the movements, the transfers, the refunds, the documents. We show you the same inside the operating system, but the source of truth is the account that is yours.

The money never sits in an account of ours.
Every payment goes straight to your school's Stripe account, with our commission split out in the same movement. There is no balance of ours holding your money, no payout day of ours, and if SurfBooking disappeared tomorrow your money would be where it always was: with you.
If your account cannot receive yet, we do not charge.
Before every charge we ask Stripe whether your account can receive. If it cannot, the payment does not happen. If only the transfers to your bank are paused (for example, an identity still to verify), the lesson still sells and the money waits in your Stripe balance until you sort it out: it is yours, it just waits for you.
A payment never counts twice.
The same Stripe notice can reach us several times: that is how the internet works. Each notice is marked before it is processed, and the second one does nothing. One booking, one charge.
Your own channel costs you no commission.
When the sale is yours (your link, your counter, your QR), SurfBooking takes no commission. We hold back a provision so we never pay Stripe's fee out of our own pocket, and we return the excess as soon as the payment is confirmed. Our margin on those payments is zero, by design.
And what we cannot promise you.
Stripe charges its own fee, and that one is not ours and we cannot remove it. Transfer times belong to Stripe and to your bank, not to us. And identity verification is theirs: if they ask for a document, they are the ones asking, and we cannot speed it up.
